Having played with Barbie myself as a child, this piece sparked my attention immediately and is something I definitely want to read more about. The author responds to the rhetorical situation by addressing the issue that some people see Barbie as a positive image for girls while others see Barbie as a negative image.
Prisna Virasin, the author did a very good job writing her paper. She expressed the supporting arguments for Barbie, the opposing arguments for Barbie, and the views of Barbie moderates.
Virasin, having had personal experience with Barbie herself, agrees with the view point of Barbie moderates. In my eyes, Barbie is a scapegoat.
